Set up Confluence
Connect Confluence to make the company wiki searchable — every page (and optionally blog post) becomes a document, so “how do we onboard a customer” answers from the page your team already wrote. Cloud and Server/Data Center both work. Read-only.
- Confluence Cloud: create an API token at id.atlassian.com → Security → API tokens, and enter your site (acme.atlassian.net), account email and the token.
- Server/Data Center: create a personal access token from your profile, enter the base URL, leave the email BLANK and paste the token.
- Optionally list space keys (the ENG in /spaces/ENG/…), one per line.
- Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.
Pages are read as the connected account — it sees exactly the spaces the account can see. Only pages whose version moved are re-read on later syncs, so big old wikis sync fast after the first pass.
