Set up Gitea / Forgejo
Connect your Gitea or Forgejo instance (Codeberg too) to make issues and pull requests searchable — each becomes a document with its description and full comment thread, tied to its repo, author and labels. Read-only.
- On the forge open Settings → Applications and generate a token with read access to repositories and issues.
- Documents → Gitea / Forgejo, enter the server URL and paste the token.
- List repositories (owner/name, one per line) or set an owner to sync everything it has.
- Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.
Gitea and Forgejo share one API, so either works — including Codeberg. Private repositories sync when the token can read them.
