Set up Airtable

Connect Airtable to make your bases searchable — every table becomes a findable concept and every record a situated fact with its linked records resolved to names, so “which projects is Acme on” answers from the base itself. Read-only.

  1. Create a token at airtable.com/create/tokens with the scopes data.records:read and schema.bases:read, and grant it the bases to sync.
  2. Documents → Airtable, paste the token; optionally list base names or ids to narrow it further.
  3. Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.

Which bases the token can reach is exactly which bases sync — the token's own access list is the scoping tool. Attachment cells are left out; linked-record cells render as the linked rows' names.
