Set up Personio (HR)
Connect Personio to make HR's own records searchable — each person becomes a situated record (name, role, team, office, dates), so “who runs marketing” and “when did Lena join” answer from the system of record. Read-only.
- In Personio open Settings → Integrations → API credentials and generate a pair with READ access to persons — the secret is shown once.
- Documents → Personio, paste the client ID and secret.
- Choose access groups carefully (HR data), Test, then Sync.
People data is sensitive — an HR or leadership access group is usually right. Fields the credential cannot read never sync; salary-like fields are masked by the structured core even when readable.
