Set up Gong
Connect Gong to make your recorded calls searchable — each becomes a minutes document with the full speaker-attributed transcript, tied to its date and the people on the call. Read-only.
The API key pair
A technical administrator creates it in Gong under Company settings → Ecosystem → API → Get API key — an access key and its secret, shown once.
- Create the key pair as above.
- Documents → Gong, paste both halves; optionally set how far back to sync (180 days by default).
- Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.
Who may ASK about the calls is controlled by the access groups you choose here — worth a thought, since sales calls name customers. Minutes already synced stay searchable even when the call later leaves the window or is deleted in Gong.
