Set up Smartsheet
Connect Smartsheet to make your sheets searchable — each sheet becomes a findable concept and each row a situated record named by its primary column, with row discussions brought in as dated notes. Read-only.
- In Smartsheet open Account → Personal Settings → API Access and generate an access token.
- Documents → Smartsheet, paste the token.
- Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.
The token reads the sheets its owner can see. Rows re-read only when their modified stamp moves, so big sheets sync cheap; very large sheets are bounded (the sweep summary says when).
