Set up NetSuite (ERP)
Connect NetSuite to make customers and their recent transactions searchable — invoices, sales orders, estimates and credit memos as records with exact per-customer totals. Read-only.
The integration record
An administrator creates it once: Setup → Integration → Manage Integrations → New, tick Token-Based Authentication, save — NetSuite shows the consumer key and secret ONCE. Copy both.
The access token
Setup → Users/Roles → Access Tokens → New: pick the integration, a user, and a role limited to viewing customers and transactions — the token reads exactly what that role can see. NetSuite shows the token ID and secret ONCE. Copy both.
- Create the integration record and access token as above.
- Documents → NetSuite, enter the Account ID (Setup → Company → Company Information) and paste all four values.
- Choose access groups, Test, then Sync.
All four values are minted once and never expire on their own. Requests are signed per-call (NetSuite's token-based authentication); nothing is ever written.
